Fitness Center Available for Alto Residents!: The Alto Town Board is excited to announce the addition of a Fitness Center in the old “skate room” at the Alto Community Center! The Town Board recently signed a partnership with Saputo and was awarded $25,000 to purchase gym equipment for use by Alto residents. The award is part of Saputo’s community-building legacy program. Saputo employs 395 residents at its local Waupun facility, where it produces mozzarella & provolone, as well as whey and shredded cheese operations. The Saputo Community Fitness Center will be available for public use from 6AM thru 7PM, Monday thru Friday, and Saturday’s from 7AM until NOON. The gym is also available to walkers during those hours. Anyone under the age of 18 must have adult supervision at all times! The Fitness Center will be CLOSED if the facility is rented out for the day. Hours and availability will be reevaluated as needed. Special thanks to Saputo for partnering with us!

Please take notice that the Town of Alto, Fond du Lac County, enacted Ordinance No. 1-2025, Ordinance to Designate a Class B Highway, on June 9, 2025. The ordinance designates Oak Mound Road from Oak Grove Road to Amity Rd as a Class B Highway and is subject to the weight limits set forth in Wis. Stat. 348.16(2).
